Hi There! My name is Hannah Swancott. I am the author of Travel Through Life – Welcome to my Travel & Lifestyle Blog!

When I am at home, I am based in the West Midlands in the UK.

My love for travel started when I was really young as I was fortunate to have some amazing holidays growing up with my family and close friends. My favourites from my younger days have to be Halkidiki, Barbados & Orlando, as a child those places blew me away and that is when it all began!

I knew as soon as I started to travel, that this was something I was really passionate about…

After leaving school and college at the age of 18 I decided to follow my dream and study travel and tourism whilst working locally in a travel agency. I completed all of my qualifications within 2 years and became a super knowledgeable travel guru (so I thought, looking back now…I am much older and wiser nowadays!) I stayed working within the travel agency for 6 years, it is something I will never forget and I loved every minute of it!

I am now 29 years old, I still work within the Travel Industry in a different sector which is something I am really grateful for. It means I am working full-time in something I absolutely love, I wouldn’t change it or give it up for the world. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to say that, there aren’t many people who can!

I will always find time for travel, I am a firm believer in making the most of everything in life.  I will travel as much as I can, even if it is locally or just for a couple of nights. The world is an amazing place and I would love to experience as much of it as possible in my lifetime, plus share my adventures with you guys along the way!

Aswell as finding time to travel, I also work hard raising money for charity. In June 2018, we sadly lost our daughter Luna.  She was our world, she has left such a handprint on our hearts & touched so many lives. Since losing Luna, myself and my family have been working hard to raise money for our local hospital in her memory. You can read all about our journey here.

Hope to see you on my adventures, be sure to say hey…
